How to care for your Pixelbook Go

Storing and transporting your Pixelbook Go

Follow these guidelines to avoid cosmetic damage such as scratches, chips, dings, or dirt.

• Keep Pixelbook Go in a protective sleeve or cover when not in use.
• Store away from other devices and power adapters, especially when transporting in a backpack, bag, or briefcase.
• When transporting in a backpack, bag, or briefcase, avoid contact with loose metal items that could cause cosmetic damage, like zippers, clasps, coins, or paper clips.
• If transporting in a hard plastic or metal basket, always use a protective covering on the device.
• Be careful not to drop the device or knock it forcefully against hard surfaces like table edges, floors, doorframes, etc.

Clean your Pixelbook Go

To keep your Pixelbook Go clean, follow these recommendations:

• Before cleaning, unplug and power off the device.
• Clean Pixelbook Go's screen or body with a dry, soft cloth. If necessary, a damp cloth can be used.
• To disinfect your Pixelbook Go, gently clean the surface with a 70% isopropyl alcohol sanitizing wipe. Avoid overly hard scrubbing.
• Do not use any chemical detergent, powder, or other chemical agents (such as benzene) to clean Pixelbook Go or accessories.
• Be careful not to get liquid on Pixelbook Go's screen or inside the USB ports, keyboard, or speaker grills.
• Let the device dry before closing the lid.

Protect your power adapter

Only charge your Pixelbook with the included power adapter and cable, or compatible charging accessories. Be sure the power adapter and device are well ventilated when in use or charging. Avoid charging your Pixelbook device in direct sunlight.

Avoid repeated twisting or pinching of the power cable, especially if you're using a cable clip, as this can cause damage. If wrapping the cable around the power adapter for storage, make sure to wrap it loosely to avoid sharp bends.
