Die USS Alabama ist ein Schlachtschiff der South-Dakota-Klasse. Gebaut wurde es auf der Werft Norfolk Navy Yard. Baubeginn war am 1. Februar 1940. Das Schiff lief am 16. Februar 1942 vom Stapel; fertiggestellt wurde es am 16. August 1942. Seit 1965 ist das Schiff als Museumsschiff für Besucher zugängig.
