A disease caused by Zika virus that is spread through mosquito bites.

- Lab tests or imaging often required
- Short-term: resolves within days to weeks
In most cases, there are no symptoms. In a few cases, Zika can trigger paralysis (Guillain-Barré Syndrome). In pregnant women, it may cause subsequent birth defects.
Extremely rare: Fewer than 5 thousand cases per year (India)
