Our incredible team in Shanghai represents the United States in a district that is home to over 240 million people. Today, I thanked them and @USCGShanghai for the complex but vital work they do each and every day.

Spoke with U.S. business leaders about the challenges and opportunities they face doing business here in China. I emphasized that both the U.S. and China can benefit from healthy economic competition, but that competition must be fair.

The American and Chinese students I spoke with at @nyushanghai represent what is possible through exchanges. We seek responsible exchanges with China that would enable more Americans to study there, building connections between our peoples.
