Abū ʿAbd Allāh Muḥammad ibn Muʿādh al-Jayyānī was an Arab mathematician, Islamic scholar, and Qadi from Al-Andalus. Al-Jayyānī wrote important commentaries on Euclid's Elements and he wrote the first known treatise on spherical trigonometry. Wikipedia
