Teusaquillo has one of the city’s biggest and best-loved green spaces, Símon Bolívar Metropolitan Park, with trails around a boating lake. Other popular strolling spots nearby include the Bogotá Botanical Garden, featuring gardens arranged by ecosystems, and Parque de los Novios with its duck pond and large kids’ play area. Street food stalls outside the parks sell juices, fried chicken and grilled arepas.
