Christ the Redeemer of the Andes is a monument high in the Principal Cordillera of the Andes at 3,832 metres above mean sea level on the border between Argentina and Chile. It was unveiled on 13 March 1904 to celebrate the peaceful resolution of the border dispute between the two countries.
