Il-yeon, also spelled Iryeon, was a Korean Buddhist monk and All-Enlightened National Preceptor during the Goryeo Dynasty of Korea. His birth name was either Kim Gyeong-myeong or Jeon Gyeon-myeong, and his courtesy name was Hoe-yeon. Wikipedia
