The Abraham Avinu Synagogue is a synagogue in the Jewish Quarter of Hebron, Palestine. Built by Hakham Malkiel Ashkenazi in 1540, its domed structure represented the physical center of the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Hebron. Wikipedia
