Vera Jocić was a Yugoslav partisan and People's Hero of Yugoslavia. She was born in the village of Sindjelić, Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, in a Serbian colonists' family and fought in the Yugoslav People's Liberation War. Wikipedia
