The church overlooks elegant art deco buildings, the yachts of Marina da Glória and verdant Flamengo Park. Cycle and walking paths lead to the Museu de Arte Moderna (MAM), known for its 20th-century Brazilian art, while over at the Feira da Glória market, stalls sell fruit, spices, cheese and tapioca snacks.
