Edging the Vistula River, Bielany is home to a number of green spaces, with landscaped walks and picnic spots in Park Olszyna, and war memorials in remote Dęby Młocińskie forest. Park Harcerskiej Poczty Polowej is known for its impressive Mural Remembrance 1944, covering a pedestrian bridge with detailed episodes from the Warsaw Uprising. A few restaurants offer Polish, Indian, or Chinese dishes.
