Eastern falanouc

The eastern falanouc is a rare mongoose-like mammal in the carnivoran family Eupleridae endemic to Madagascar. It is classified alongside the Western falanouc, recognized only in 2010, in the genus Eupleres. Falanoucs have several peculiarities. Wikipedia
