Historic Oksywie has strong military links, from the ruins of a WWII coastal battery to the Polish Naval Cemetery and Port Wojenny Gdynia naval base. The red-brick Kościół pw. św. Michała Archanioła church has 13th-century origins and an unusual wooden spire. Oksywski Boulevard heads north along remote Oksywie Beach to seaside Osada Rybacka village, which has a couple of cozy bars and Bay of Puck views.
