Quiet Rothéneuf is a seaside resort that attracts visitors to its sandy beach, Plage du Val, popular for swimming even at low tide, and the walking trails atop the Pointe de la Varde cliffs. Les Rochers Sculptés are more than 300 sculptures of legendary figures carved into granite rock in the late 1800s by Abbé Fouré.
