Flanked by Villilänsalmi Lake, Pispala is known for its row of old wooden houses set along a ridge. Walking paths, a garden, and a stretch of sandy beach are highlights of Tahmelan Beach Park. The area is home to the landmark Pispalan Hauli Tower, museums, and a performing arts theater, along with casual bars and eateries. There’s also a former log floating tunnel and the popular, long-running Rajaportti Sauna.
