Röcken is a village and former municipality in the Burgenlandkreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 July 2009, it has been part of the town of Lützen. The village is best know as the birthplace, in 1844, of philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, whose father was the pastor here. Wikipedia
