John Jiskra of Brandýs, in English sometimes referred as John Giskra, was a Czech strategist and mercenary soldier. John Jiskra came from the Moravian branch of the noble family Lords of Brandýs, he was possibly a son of Alšík of Brandýs. Wikipedia
