Sprawling Meilahti is covered with green spaces, including Meilahdenpuisto, a large park with sports facilities, and Meilahti Arboretum with its rose garden. Art nouveau Tamminiemi Villa is now home to the Urho Kekkonen Museum, dedicated to the Finnish president who lived there. Connected to the mainland by a small bridge, the island of Seurasaari is scattered with old wooden buildings comprising an open-air museum.
