Balduina

Neighborhood in Rome, Italy
On Monte Mario's southern slope, Balduina is Rome's highest area. Bustling Piazza della Balduina is circled by shops, bars, and restaurants. Eucalyptus trees line Monte Ciocci Park's biking and pedestrian path, which leads to views of St. Peter's Dome. At Pineta Sacchetti Park, dozens of bird species can be found among the pine trees. The 1400s Villa Mellini houses the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics.
