Otto Wilhelmsson Furuhjelm was a Russian lieutenant-general of Finnish descent. Furuhjelm was a Swedish-speaking Finn. He graduated from the Finnish Cadets Corps, and in 1839, enrolled the Life-Guards Semenovskiy Regiment. Wikipedia
