Louise-Rose-Étiennette Gérard, known as Rosemonde Gérard was a French poet and playwright. She was the wife of Edmond Rostand, and was a granddaughter of Étienne Maurice Gérard, who was a Marshal and a Prime Minister of France. Wikipedia
