The Mausoleum of Ali, located in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan, is a mosque which some Sufi Sunnis believe contains the tomb of ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib. This site is visited particularly by Naqshbandi sufis. Many pilgrims annually celebrate Nowruz at the site.
