Monti Sibillini National Park is a protected area in Italy’s Apennine Mountains. Ringed by the Grande Anello dei Sibillini path, it’s home to peaks like Mount Vettore, with Lake Pilato at its foothills. The park has abundant flora, including orchids, and is home to wolves and birds of prey. In the town of Visso, the 8-sided Sanctuary of Macereto features Renaissance frescoes. Southwest is the walled town of Norcia.
