The semirural area of Forges-les-Eaux centers on the town of the same name, home of the WWII-themed Normandy Resistance Museum, with displays ranging from aircraft parts to ration cards. Several lakes dot the landscape, including the Étang de la Chevrette, popular for trout fishing, and the tree-shaded Étangs de l’Ardelle, with mute swans and migratory birds. Hiking trails cross the Bois de l’Epinay woods.
