Leafy Chorzów Batory is a residential area with local businesses, relaxed restaurants, and industry, mostly concentrated along Stefana Batorego Street. It's home to Ruch Stadium, which is the base to one of Poland’s most famous football clubs, Ruch Chorzów. The picturesque redbrick Church of the Holy Virgin Marbach's Ascension dates from the early 1900s.
