Joannes Baptist Matthijs Gijsen was a Dutch bishop of the Roman Catholic Church. After being Bishop of Roermond, Limburg, the Netherlands, he became Bishop of the Diocese of Reykjavík. His episcopal motto was Parate viam Domini. Wikipedia
