Abritus

Set along the outskirts of Razgrad, Abritus was an imposing 1st-century AD Roman walled city. It’s now home to the 1,000-acre open-air Abritus Archaeological Reserve exhibiting 70 monuments, including many tombstones and an altar devoted to Hercules. The reserve also features a gift shop, and a museum displaying artifacts dating from the 10th century. There are also adjacent residential apartment blocks.
