Inner City, or Belváros, is an upscale area with prominent neoclassical buildings, including Vigadó concert hall. The 1800s Gerbeaud Cafe is known for its elegant cakes and gold-and-marble decor. Hungarian design boutiques cluster around Váci and Deák Ferenc streets, the latter known as “Fashion Street.” Luxury hotels and fine-dining restaurants line the banks of the Danube and Deák Ferenc Square.
