Dominated by the 13th-century Godesburg Castle, peaceful Bad Godesburg has a villagelike feel. A few consulates remain from Bonn’s time as West Germany’s capital. Asian, Middle Eastern, Brazilian, and Chinese eateries cluster in the pedestrian center, serving an increasingly multicultural population. Its green, hilly southern end is home to the castlelike Bismarck Tower.
