The olomaʻo is a small, dark solitaire endemic to Maui, Lānaʻi and Molokaʻi in the Hawaiian Islands. It is listed as Critically Endangered. The extinct ʻāmaui, either a subspecies of M. lanaiensis or a distinct species, was endemic to Oʻahu. Wikipedia
