Mornington

Mornington is a serene coastal village where the Elizabethan-era Maiden Tower and the legendary Lady's Finger obelisk sit at the River Boyne's mouth. The 1880s Drogheda East Lighthouse overlooks sandy Mornington Bay Beach, a popular spot for fishing and strolls by the Irish Sea. Cosy Moran's pub opened in the 1800s, and is near the bluff-top Star of the Sea Church with its views of the river and the Colpe Stream.
