Āśrama is a system of stages of life discussed in Hindu texts of the ancient and medieval eras. The four asramas are: Brahmacharya, Gṛhastha, Vanaprastha, and Sannyasa. The Asrama system is one facet of the Dharma concept in Hinduism. Wikipedia
