Tranquil, largely residential Sankt Georgen is known for the annual St. Georgener Weintage, a springtime festival with regional wine tastings, live music, and costumed revelers. The area is dotted with casual German taverns and Italian restaurants. Postwar single-family homes interspersed with small churches skirt the edge of the Black Forest and the vineyard-covered slopes of Schönberg mountain.
