Banlung is a city in northeastern Cambodia. Its central Phsar Banlung market has jewelry, carvings and baskets made by local tribes. Eisan Ratanaram Pagoda, on nearby Phnom Svay hill, overlooks the city and has a large reclining buddha. To the east, Yeak Lom is a volcanic crater lake surrounded by forest. A trail follows the shoreline, and wooden piers provide access to the water.
