Robert Douglas, Count of Skenninge, Baron of Skalby, was a Scottish cavalry general during the Thirty Years' War rising to the rank of Field Marshal in the Swedish-Polish wars that followed. He founded the Swedish branch of Clan Douglas. Wikipedia
