The Eugene Ionesco Theatre stages works by its namesake playwright, while the Alexander Pushkin Museum displays the famed Russian poet’s memorabilia. A memorial to the Soviet-Afghan War of 1979–1989 stands in Parcul Afgan, and there’s shopping and dining around Bulevardul Moscova.
