Parque Nacional Nevado Tres Cruces

Parque Nacional Nevado Tres Cruces is a high-altitude protected area in the Atacama Desert in northern Chile. In the shadow of the nearby mountain range Nevado Tres Cruces, it’s famed for migratory flamingos that arrive in summer. The park also has wetlands, bodies of water such as Santa Rosa and Negro Francisco lagoons, and the Maricunga salt flat. East is the active Ojos del Salado volcano.
