Antanas Smetona

Antanas Smetona was a Lithuanian intellectual, journalist and the first President of Lithuania from 1919 to 1920 and again from 1926 to 1940, before its occupation by the Soviet Union. In the second of these periods, he ruled as a dictator. Wikipedia
