The borough Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf is full of elegant pre-war buildings, with high-end boutiques on Kurfürstendamm (“Ku’damm”) and around Savignyplatz, also known for its many Asian restaurants. In the north, Charlottenburg Palace features baroque interiors and landscaped gardens. The Westend neighborhood includes Messe Berlin, which hosts conferences and trade fairs, and the 1930s Olympic Stadium and Bell Tower.
