Joseph Freinademetz SVD, was a Ladin Catholic priest and missionary in China. He was a member of the Society of the Divine Word. Freinademetz's sainthood cause was opened after his death in 1908, and he was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2003. Wikipedia
