Dinnerware by Massimo Vignelli for Arpe. The set is made out of melamine (molded plastic) and won the Compasso D'Oro Award for Good Design in 1964. The orignal molds were brought from Italy by Heller and were released in 1971 as the Max I set and updated a few years later in rainbow colors.
