Santiago the Mayor and Temptations of Christof the Portico of Glory

On the capital the figure of the apostle Santiago is arranged, in a preeminent place for being the owner of the cathedral. According to some experts, the plot line is interrupted, since on his head the temptations of Christ in the desert are represented: Satan, represented hairy and with exaggerated features, tempts him to turn stones into bread, to throw himself from above of a church and that the angels save him, and also to adore him, but Christ refuses.
