Ghanaian mathematician and physicist
Francis Kofi Ampenyin Allotey FGA OV was a Ghanaian mathematical physicist. Together with Daniel Afedzi Akyeampong, he became the first Ghanaian to obtain a doctorate in mathematical sciences, earned in 1966. Wikipedia
