Situated at the city's highest point, Bayit VeGan is a laid-back neighborhood with panoramic views of the surrounding hills and Jerusalem's buildings. It's a religious hub, with many yeshivas, seminaries and Torah schools. Leafy gardens dot the district, while pizzerias and seafood restaurants line Ha-Pisga Street. On the outskirts is an archaeological site with a Bronze Age cemetery and ancient Canaanite artifacts.
