Wadway is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Opmeer and Medemblik. It is located about 7 km northwest of Hoorn. The village was first mentioned in 1256 as Waddeweye, and means "road" and "fordable place". Wikipedia
