Saint-Roch is a hip district with lots of small restaurants, cafes, and lively bars, as well as boutiques selling clothes, housewares, and toys, along Rue Saint-Joseph. Music venues, theaters, and contemporary art galleries dot the entire area. The Jardin Jean-Paul L’Allier features gardens and a man-made waterfall, and nearby is the towering Église Saint-Roch. The city’s pro baseball team plays at Stade CANAC.
