Designed to replicate an American suburb, Shahrak-e Gharb is a planned, upscale district of Tehran that’s filled with luxury residential apartment complexes, some offering scenic views of the surrounding mountains. There are several upmarket shopping centers, and green spaces such as leafy walking trails at Iran Zamin Park. The area also has many elaborate mosques, as well as coffee shops and traditional restaurants.
