Set along the Rhine River bordering Germany, Robertsau has farmland, and the lush Robertsau Forest with a cascading waterfall. It’s home to universities, student housing, shops and casual restaurants, as well as the Lieu d’Europe history museum and the Fort Ney ruins. Walking paths, and a hotel in an 18th-century château are popular at Parc de Pourtalès.
